We would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to the work of our team of close to 70 volunteers - country researchers, translators, solicitors, barristers, phoneline operators, the web and forum team and meeting helpers.

Depending on an individual's abilities and preferences, opportunities could involve:

  • Research into the countries of origin of our clients
  • Assisting with setting up, drinks and clearing up at asylum support meetings
  • Research into the legal profession
  • Administration
  • Befriending and informal client support
  • Visiting detainees in detention centres
  • Translation/interpretation
