We welcome feedback, so if you have any concerns about anyone appearing here please let us know. Please, however, use our Forum with care. If you have an issue with a particular solicitor, it would not be appropriate to air this in public before an investigation has been made.

You may also consider seeking guidance from the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner. The OISC is responsible for ensuring that all immigration advisers fulfill the requirements of good practice. This independent public body is committed to the elimination of unscrupulous advisers and the fair and thorough investigation of complaints.

UKLGIG will only consider affiliation from firms that meet one of the following criteria: 

1. The firm, or an individual within the firm, is listed in the Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession as a leader in immigration law. CH
2. The firm employs at least one person who has been accredited at Level 2 of the Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme (IAAS). (See Law Society Register of Accredited Immigration and Asylum Practitioners. http://www.lawsociety.org.uk ) A2
3. The firm employs at least one person who is an Immigration Law Practitioners Association course trainer. ILPA*

(Note: Since 2 & 3 are not applicable to Scotland, any Scottish entries are based instead on peer group recommendation.)
